Halloween Hunting: Monster Creations – Spooky Little Halloween

The obsession with Halloween handbags is VERY real in the Spooky Little Apartment.

I seem to keep finding small businesses making purses and bags I cannot live without…and today’s Halloween hunting stop is one of those.

You likely know Monster Creations from their iconic McPail purse series they released last year that was all over Instagram. I somehow managed to snag to coveted McWitch purse, and I absolutely fell in love. It is absolutely perfect, and I went in for round two earlier this year when I snagged their Ouija board bag which is THE perfect purse size. (You also saw me carrying the planchette cross-body on my trip to Las Vegas back in May.)

Because I love them SO much and can vouch for the quality of these bags, I decided they deserved a stop on our Halloween hunting tour this year!

Halloween Hunting at Monster Creations

Note: Monster Creations does preorders on their designs rather than selling stock 24/7, so giving them a follow on Instagram is the best way to stay up-to-date on when the next sale is happening.

Check out some of my recent faves from them:

Bat Tonic Potion Backpack

The latest series from Monster Creations are these potion bottles. They’re so fun and unique! The Bat Tonic design is sold out, but you can still grab the Crow’s Feet or Ghost Tears version.

AAAHHH!!! Real Monsters Round Bags

I didn’t grow up with cable TV, so I only caught bits and pieces of this Nickelodeon classic at friends’ houses when I was a kit…but I’m enough of a 90s kid to LOVE these monsters as handbags!

McHalloween Pail Bucket Bags

I just about DIED when this collection came out last summer, and I LOVED receiving my McWitch bucket bag right before Halloween. Bonus points: it glows in the dark.

Beetlejuice No Feet Bag

It’s the details on this bag for me. I love the black and white striped piping around the edge and the very subtle nod to one of our favorite films.

Jason Voorheese Slasher Purse

I’ve seen some Jason mask purses over the years, but the details, again, on this one make it one of my faves.

Ouija Board and Planchette Bags

This is the design I own, and I am obsessed! The board bag is the perfect size, and I love the detail of the planchette zippers on both. The smaller planchette purse is great for a night out when you only need a few things on you.

Haunted Mansion Clutch

We don’t get a ton of clutch purses in the Halloween community, but I’m excited to see more of them starting to pop up in varying designs. This Haunted Mansion wallpaper print is the perfect subtly spooky design for all year long.

Gothic Bat Clutch

If you’d rather be a bit more obvious—or go for a more gothic design—then this bat clutch is for you!

Cauldron Bag

I’ve seen a few cauldron-inspired bags over the years, but never one as cute as this! I love the detail of the bubbles, and at time of posting the purple variation was still available.

Coffin Backpack

And finally, I love the unique shape of this coffin backpack purse. The detail of the bat stamped around the edge is great too.
